Open Studios
Welcome to the Annual Open Studios at The Chocolate Factory in Wood Green. In 2009, over 100 artists and creative companies took part in the Open Studios and opening their studios to the public, making it one of the largest events of its kind in London.
Chocolate Factory 1 & 2, home to over 200 artists and creative companies, are a hub of cutting edge design, product development and creativity in visual arts, music, film, photography, web and game design, fashion, jewellery, wide range of crafts and lots more.
The Chocolate Factory concept is so innovative and successful it is now being replicated in Europe, the City of Malaga is going ahead with the development of their own Chocolate Factory. The Chocolate Factory brand will also be going London-wide with the first exhibition of Chocolate Factory Artists taking place at the Gallery in Redchurch Street in Shoreditch in early 2010, further information about the exhibition will be available in due course.
Open Studios is an opportunity for all sectors of the creative community and the members of the public to come and explore The Chocolate Factory and be inspired by an amazing array of art forms live in the artists’ studios. This eclectic and interactive event offers a huge selection of contemporary art and design from leading practitioners in their fields and features internationally acclaimed painters, sculptors, photographers, music, film makers and designer-makers.
